Traveler of the Month: Andrew Liddemore

Name: Andrew Liddemore

 Hometown: Adelaide, South Australia

Occupation: Radiographer

Trips with FnEZ: 25-day LTC (Laos, Thailand, and Cambodia)10-day Indonesia10-day Costa Rica & Panama20-day Peru20-day Colombia.

Countries I’ve traveled to otherwise: New Zealand, Fiji

Why I travel: To gain new experiences, to see amazing sights, to meet amazing people, learn about other cultures.

My favourite travel memory with FnEZ: Hiking Machu Picchu in Peru, hot seat but with compliments, hiking down rocks in Tayrona Park, and chocolate coffee spa day in Colombia, and searching for elephants in the jungle in Northern Thailand.

Most embarrassing travel story: Slipping over and blowing out (breaking) both of my flip flops (thongs) exiting the shower in the jungle in Northern Thailand, with every group member spectating. Or falling getting out of a van and breaking a sign post.

Top 3 items I can’t travel without: Jungle Jeans (skinny jeans that I do every hike in), portable speaker, and beanie (toque) my mum knitted me.

What I love about traveling with FnEZ:  Everyone who travels with FnEZ are amazing people, the group members and the leaders become like family from day one; FnEZ organizes everything, I just hop on a bus, train, tuk tuk, boat or plane, and that is all I have to do.

Next bucket list item I NEED to check off: Swimming with whale sharks in the Philippines next year!

My future travel plans: 20-day Philippines and 20-day Vietnam next year!
