Traveler Name: Brad Lupino
Hometown: Redwater, Alberta
Occupation: Petroleum Engineer
Trips with FnEZ:
Countries I’ve traveled to otherwise:
USA, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Indonesia
Why I travel: I travel to broaden my perspective on the world and to feed my addiction to adventure. Or simply just to escape the cold weather in Canada.
My favourite travel memory with FnEZ: Getting my dive license in the Philippines. I now can go diving at most places I travel to. Being able to explore underwater is like looking at a whole other world.
My most hilarious travel story: A recent story comes to mind when I read this question… We were volcano boarding in Leon, Nicaragua, and it was decided that we should go check out this new lagoon to swim and have lunch. All was going well until a big torrential rainstorm hit. We have to climb a big hill by foot to get to the van. By the time we started making our way out of the hill was literally flowing mud. We huddled under a big tarp while walking up this hill and my flip flops blew apart half way up. Everyone was happy once we got to the van until we started moving and of course the van got stuck in the mud. Everyone has to get out and push and eventually we got going again (after everyone pushed and got covered in mud). It was a long ride back to the hostel soaking wet and covered in mud.
Top 3 items I can’t travel without: Bluetooth Speaker, Crib board, iPhone (music/camera)
What I love about traveling with FnEZ: Love the sense of community and making new friends. Always come out of every FnEZ trip with a bunch of new friends. The friendships never end even when the trips end.
Next bucket list item I need to check off: I would like to go on Yacht Week!
My future travel plans: Apparently I need to go to Colombia because I have been hearing so many great things about it. Also would like to do a big Europe trip.
