Countries I’ve traveled to otherwise: Denmark, Sweden, Ireland, Philippines, USA, New Zealand.

Why I travel: I travel to learn about different cultures, to meet people from other parts of the world from different backgrounds, gain awareness and get a broader perspective. I want to push my limits and experience something that’s unfamiliar to what I’m used to. Just learn more about myself and grow as a person in general. Travelling can enrich any person’s life, and it definitely makes you appreciate what you have and you see how lucky you truly are.

My favourite travel memory with FnEZ: Aagh, tough one… There’s so many! But first one that came to mind was motorbike day in Vietnam. We rode from morning till sunset. Seeing the beauty that surrounded us literally brought me to tears and I think all of us had a sense of pure freedom sitting on a motorcycle and listening to our music. OMG, and the puppies we got to cuddle with along the way!!

My most embarrassing travel story: At this point I’m not really embarrassed by anything anymore, but on my first trip in Indonesia, I ended up having Asia belly, aka the shits, hiking up Mt. Rinjani. Good times.

Top 3 items I can’t travel without:

1. A sarong- a must have. Can use it as a clothing item, a towel, even as a blanket to cuddle with on travel days.

2. My speaker – what’s life without some background music.

3. And a tweezer – gotta keep those eyebrows on fleek you know.

What I love about traveling with FnEZ: What don’t I love. I really do love everything about FnEZ – it’s a different vibe than what you’d expect from a travel company. Super chill, you can do whatever you like since it’s “your trip” and still feel like you’re a part of a family. The leaders are so much fun and knowledgeable and you don’t have to worry about a single thing, like where to book your next place or what activities to do. Everything is already planned or laid out for you. Didn’t even go through the itinerary before coming on, cause I wanted most of it to be a “surprise”. And best of all, meeting amazing and like-minded people.

Next bucket list item I need to check off: I did some mountain biking in New Zealand, which gave me such an adrenaline rush – so I want to find some cool places in Canada to do it. I mean… Judging by all the photos I’ve seen, there’s definitely some mountains to explore and go camping at as well.

My future travel plans:  Oh, I definitely have gotten bitten by the travel bug. I want to go everywhere! But I’m thinking of heading over to Canada next summer to road-trip and see some of the beautiful people I met during my time in Asia. Then I want to do Nica New Years and the 40-day Philippines trip. Also really want to do most of the Central America trips with FnEZ. But I think I might do that after I’ve done some work and travel around New Zealand and Australia. My dream is to go to Italy and Japan also. Yeah. Lots of plans.
